My illustration inspired by the English Folktale, "The Dead Moon" or "The Buried Moon".
The Dead Moon is a story where the Moon comes down to Earth to check out a all the spooky things that go on when she is busy shining to see all the darkness in the world. She visits all the witches, black cats and Goblins to see what they are up to. Well, things went a little crazy from there but the Moon survives and continues to shine on...most days.
The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.
The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.
The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.
All prints are signed and numbered.
