Title: "The Mourning Flowers".
I was inspired the beautiful Victorian Gothic graves while walking through the Highgate Cemetery in London. In this portrait, I imagined the bouquets of flowers forever clutched in the hands of the stone statues to hoping come alive once again.
The original illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.
Size: 6x8 inches
