The Sad Eyes of Virginia Woolf (6x8) Victorian Writers Portrait

18.00

This portrait of Virginia Woolf is part of my series, "The Writer's Project".

The author of "A Room of One's Own" taught me that everyone has a voice. Her beautiful and melancholy writing never fails to move me. Although her life ended in tragedy, her strong writing continues to inspire all those who read her words. Virginia was a true innovator of the English language.

Her portrait is all about the eyes, they are deep set and dark, as if asking for understanding...

The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.

The artwork on this limited edition print is approximately 6in X 8in and is printed on archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.

All prints are signed and numbered.
