My Victorian Goth portrait of Miss Claire and holding onto a daguerreotype photograph of her dearly departed sister, Anna.
Title :"Miss Claire and Anna"
10 year old Claire had a good life of marvelous adventures with her older sister Anna. Together they lived all over the city meeting the most incredible people and getting in and out of all kinds of trouble. When Anna was suddenly gone, all Claire had left with was a broken heart and this photograph.
The original illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache paint.
The artwork on this limited edition print is 6" x 8" and is printed on archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.
The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.
The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The Foundlings Series: I have always been fascinated by the Victorian era. There are so many dark stories to be told. I am creating a series based on the history of the Foundling Hospitals in New City and London in the 1800's. The Foundling Hospital was created to help all the children that were abandoned due to hardship and extreme poverty. Some were adopted others became apprentices and learned to take care of themselves. They lived pretty harsh lives. Here are a few of their stories.
