Hans Christian Andersen Art Print, "The Elfin Mound."

This illustration was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen story, "The Elfin Mound." It's a tale of merriment and chaos, where the Elfin king is trying to find a new wife for the old mountain king. Not one of the many of the daughters are quite right until he meets the last one, who he simply asks to tell him some stories. She does just that, and charms the old king with funny stories to make him laugh. She is soon asked to be his bride. Definitely a folktale version of "live...laugh...love". Am I right?

The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.
