Shirley Jackson Art Print

My illustrated ode to Gothic novel writer, Shirley Jackson (1916-1965).

Shirley Jackson is best known for her short story "The Lottery" (1948), which reveals a secret, sinister side to an all American town, and for The Haunting of Hill House (1959), which is considered to be one of the best ghost stories ever written. And my personal favorite, We Have Always Lived in the Castle (1962) a tragic story of a young girl and her family who is isolated from the world and what they do to survive.

She is a master story teller and I hope to get more eyes on her books.

The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.

The artwork on this limited edition print is approximately 6in X 8in and is printed on archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.

All prints are signed and numbered.
