My illustrated ode to the incredible Southern Gothic short story writer Flannery O'Connor (1925-1964)! Her work is dark and smart with a sharp wit while also on taking readers on a spiritual search for meaning. All the things I love in a good story. The peacock feather celebrates her love of the birds she raised.

The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with watercolor and gouache.

The artwork on this limited edition print is approximately 6in X 8in and is printed on archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.
