My portrait of F. Scott Fitzgerald, best know as the writer of the Jazz Age (1896-1940).

Title: "This Side of Fitzgerald"

F.Scott Fitzgerald is considered to be one of the greatest American writers of the 20th Century...and one of my literary heroes. He wrote of youth, love and despair and showed his audience a whole new way of thinking. His own life was a bit of turmoil which he shared a bit in his own stories.

He is best known for works "The Great Gatsby", The Beautiful and Damned" "Tender is the Night" and "This Side of Paradise" as well as many short stories. As a reader, Fitzgerald opened my eyes to the incredible hidden world of the 1920's. He will always be an inspiration to me and I am so happy to paint his portrait.

The original hand drawn and painted illustration was created by me (Debra Styer) with layers of watercolor and gouache paints over a my graphite drawing.

The artwork on this limited edition print is approximately 6" x 8" and is printed on archival velvet fine art paper with archival inks.

The print includes a lovely antique white mat ready to pop into a 8 x 10 frame.

The print will be shipped to you in a protective sleeve with extra backing in a sturdy flat mailing envelope.

All prints are signed and numbered.
